This is a good controllers for beginners that starting to learn about DMX and lighting. It's also good for professionals as well. This controller is a good alternative for those that choose not to use DMX software.

Works great! Easy to use for a novice at DMX. Worked out of the box with two GigBAR 2 and one GigBAR Move, and multiple Swarm 5 FX. Also connected several strobes and two haze machines. I have gotten a lot out of it even though I still have a lot to learn about DMX.

Purchased this controller to run a couple chauvet intimidates 360 moving heads along with a couple chauvet wash fx 2 wash lights. The obey 70 is really easy to use and has a bright blue led that makes it even easier to read. I highly recommend this controller if your planning on running just simple scenes or chases.

I bought this controller to run a standard 8 LED Par setup and it works great. Programming was simple and once programmed it stayed programmed. I love the fact that it is sound activated and that I can easily set a manually timed scene as well. I run sound and lights while playing guitar and singing and this controller made my shows a lot less hectic. The only drawback is that it is set up to rack mount but the DMX connectors are in a place that you may need 90° plugs, this wasn't a problem for my setup though. If you're looking for a DMX controller that won't break the bank and is easy to operate this is the one for you.

Your general opinion of this product.
Unit is very touchy. Had to reset numerous times as it would freeze.
Normally love this brand, this is the first time I have been disappointed with its performance.
Was easy to use, when it worked.
Has some cool built in features.
