When you first put them on they are super bright, but once you've played them for a couple of days straight their real sound and charactor starts to come through for a nice deep, rich, thumpiness Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? These strings feel amazing! They are how flats should be. Full of tone and yet still thumpy Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Smooth and thumpy, the way flats are supposed to sound. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Action How was the action out of the box? The lights have the same playability as roundwound mediums... keep that in mind when ordering for the first time

They're American made and have prompt customer service, I can't say enough good things about D'addario! (no I don't work for them haha) Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? I like versitle basses. With these strings I can play rock gigs or jazz gigs and be able to dial in a tone I'm satisfied with. Sound How is its Tone? Very versatile! I can get bright rock tones to thumpy R&B tones.
