These strings really changed my 2009 Sandberg California VM4 for the best! I do a lot of tapping and with the increased tension of these strings, I was able to get the action even lower with no fret buzz and my bass plays so much better. The tone these strings produce are exactly what I was looking for as well. My bass sounded great before but now it’s monstrous! I had to turn my eq down some because of the increased low and high end. I will be using these strings exclusively from now on.

A really good lower-priced bass string that has a gritty feel like the old Labella Hard rock steels that I liked. They seem to hold up well and retain their high end for a respectable length of time and stay in tune very well.

Top Shelf! Daddario is the best in the biz.
I like these strings because they stay bright for a long long time. I like my strings to sound new.
These last long, sound great, stay in tune, what else do you need?
They say "piano-like tones" and they are right. Crisp strings, you want to cut through, these are for you!
These strings do have an unusual coating, but I think that's what makes them last as long as they do.
