I almost gave up on 12 string electrics cause they kept losing tune and the strings were too close together. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I would say for the short time I've had it, it's a very well made guitar. I can't imagine an issue with dependability. My only concern is the scarf-joint on the neck between the first and third frets. But with care I'm sure it will last years and years. This joint is very well done and cannot be felt at all. If the grain matched you wouldn't know it was there. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Well, I just got it so we'll see but it does appear to be quite well made. I may experiment with lowering the action just a bit to see if this helps. I'm going to have to get used to the fingerboard width. It's a bit wider than the Rick to say the least. But on the other hand this does make it considerably easier to play. Control accessibility is not really an issue although I miss the pick-up balance control. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth?
