Playability is good; the neck feels comfortable; the action is uniform; weight is maybe a little heavy but not bad; controls are well-placed; the tuner works like a champ; the EQ allows the guitar to sound like my Taylor when amplified. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Definitely a bright tone with the bottom-end dampened by the possibly overly-solid construction. The pickups can sound a bit electric depending on the attack but overall the sound is great amplified. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? This is one gorgeous instrument! The actual color was a little bit darker than in the online photos which made it even more beautiful. Action How was the action out of the box? The neck buzzed but a little loosening of the truss rod with the included allen wrench and the action became very good.
