Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I think it is a good instrument and definatley worth checking out. The only problem i have is that in the picture it shows solid black hardware and when I got mine it was silver hardware, which pissed me off. Definatley play it first.

How has it stood up over time?
I have had it for about 3 months now and I havn't had any problems yet.

I think this is a really good guitar but I was expecting something different.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It is really easy to play and good for soloing. The neck is definatley v shaped and If you are into super thin necks like a jackson or a ibanez I don't know how much you'll like it. I recommend playing it before buying it. The pots are really smooth and are fun to play. The volume knob with the dime traction thing is a piece of XXXX> I highly recommend replacing it. It looks pretty stupid.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Like I said, through a high gain amp it's great sounding, but it does not have very bright acoustics. Also you should know that emgs are really super sensitive. So you might have problems with that.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I like the finish but you should know that the silver edges are kind of sparkly not a solid silver like I thought.

Good action. Very easy to play.

In this case you can judge a book by its cover (It looks amazing and it is amazing).

I was shocked on how light it was, at the time I owned a shorter guitar and that was heavier than this dean!
