Quality:
I think they did a XXXX job and I should get my money back, but they make it so there's really no way to contact them.
Sound:
The sound is decent, but it goes out of tune very quickly.
Reliability:
It already has little nicks and scratches and I barely even use it!
Overall:
The bolt-on neck was put on wrong, it had hairline fractures, and it was missing an inlay. Horrible
Playability and Feel:
It is pretty light, which is nice but feels kinda stiff and it's hard to play chords at the top of the neck.
Tone:
The tone was snappy and the pickups were thin.
Finish:
It had a poorly done pait job. Everything had a lower contast than how it was featured.

Quality:
It is very well made. Its a very dependable guitar and it really is a great buy.
Sound:
I played this beast on a Fender Frontman 212R and was blown away. I also played it on a Peavy 75W combo and was impressed. It stacks up well against a lot of Ibanez guitars I have played.
Reliability:
It is a very sturdy guitar, I have had not problems and it would take some huge force to do anything to damage this guitar
Overall:
This guitar is definitely killer.
Playability and Feel:
It has a very fast, smooth neck. The body is big, but that's not a problem. The controls are fairly close at hand, so there are no problems there. It is a little heavy, but its balanced, so no problems there either.
Tone:
The pick ups are everything you would want. They are clear when clean and scorching when distorted.
Finish:
I did notice some very small imperfections (some tiny black splotches) but they are unnoticeable and really, this guitar looks great.
Action:
As soon as I got it a threw on some Dean Markly Blue Steels, tuned it up, and it sounded totally awesome.

Good quality.
Overall:
Please don't buy this guitar because it will make mine more valuable! For the money, this is a great guitar. I own other "V" s and this one is the best: great tones, cool graphic, plays fantastic!
Playability and Feel:
Neck is 'D' shape for shredding and it plays great!
Tone:
All the metal tones are there - crunch, sustain, and warmth out of the neck PUP and bite from the bridge PUP.
Finish:
The finish is clear and done perfectly.
Action:
It plays very well, very fast.

Easily the BEST guitar in its price range!
Quality:
The price tag of 300 dollars may lead some to think that this is a cheap, poorly crafted guitar.I scoff at those people, first of all it is a DEAN.All of their products have quality craftsmanship. My friend has a Gibson Zakk Wylde signature, and in the few months he has owned it two tone knobs stripped, and the finish scratches way too easily. I think that this guitar could and should be sold for more based on its quality alone.
Sound:
For a 300 dollar guitar, I was completely surprised. My friend has an Ibanez Prestige with a Dimebucker bridge pickup and he was pissed that my stock pickups stomped his.
Reliability:
I've had this guitar for about a year, and everything looks and operates the way it did when I bought it new. I play this thing heavily all the time, no problems at all. Definitely a well crafted and assembled axe.
Overall:
This is my first Dean, and this thing rocks. The graphic looks 100 times better in person and the beveled v shape and the headstock are mean.
Playability and Feel:
This is the most comfortable and easiest guitar I have played/owned. It is heavier than most guitars, but i prefer that. The neck profile is insanely smooth and accessible, and is perfect for shredding. It feels like the ideal metal machine.
Tone:
For stock Dean designed pickups, i was seriously impressed. They can produce basically any sound imaginable. Cleans are bright and defined, and when distorted they can hold their own with much more expensive pickups(EMG,Dimarzio). Harmonics are rich and the crunch is razor sharp. Irun this beast through a Line 6 Spider 3 75 watt, and the sound is absolutely punishing. When run on a crunch/metal amp setting this axe screams that classic Megadeth tone.(Rust In Peace era).
Finish:
The pictures on the web can't do the graphic justice.Although the face of the guitar has a graphic the back and sides are painted black, which in my opinion looks killer. The overall finish and clear-coat are flawless and are very durable.
Action:
Perfect. The only thing I have changed is the gauge of strings, which are now SIT(Stay In Tune) brand 10-46's. The action feels awesome in any tuning.
