well people this is the way its done. don't buy this till you check out if your computer hard drive is fast enough and your computer is compatible. also I have to tell you unless you know pro tools or have about 3 to 6 months you are willing to invest in learning this don't buy it cause you will just be too frustrated. on the other hand this is the way to produce that demo or album that makes your life on to a label. so you decide what you want.

Producer Friendly? Engineer approved!
Quality:
The sound quality is very good. I don't know if I would say I hear a high definition type of quality.
Features:
Although it has a good amount of features I can't really pinpoint one that made me feel really excited about it at anytime. In other words, they do what they do but I have not seen one that makes me feel like I can't work without it.
Ease of Use:
I endured quite a few frustrations with this in the 2 years that I've had it. The biggest would have to be that this software is more engineer friendly that it is for producers like me. If I knew it would be a struggle to produce music(the beat) from scratch I definitely would have gone in another direction. A home studio version should be easier to produce than it should be to mix a track. Unfortunately, this is the case with pro tools.
Value:
I don't regret the money I spent on it since pretty much all the other popular software were along the same price.
Appearance:
Truthfully, I went with pro tools because it was the so called industry standard which led me to think anything less would lack in quality. Everything I read and saw about it from professionals(not artists) looked like it was the way to go. I have no doubt it's a great software, but definitely can't call it user friendly.
