Outstanding Bang for your buck!

Your general opinion of this product.
Superiority defined. Digitech knocked it out of the park with the Vocalist Live FX. It's as though they actually listened to their consumers (who'd a thunk it?, looking at you TCH) This is a tremendous "user friendly" device with enough tweakable options to keep knob twiddlers like me poring through the different settings for hours, though there's no real need to because this thing sounds excellent out of the box. I own a VL3, VL4, and now this and it's the best of both worlds when it comes to ease of use but also bears an intuitive interface.
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I've only owned it a week or so now but the steel chassis, and vacuum style footswitches leads me to believe that it will last a long time like all my other Digitech stuff.
Ease of Use
How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be?
I found it a breeze to use but I am very experienced with using this kind of stuff. I was tweaking parameters within a few minutes of powering it up. I only waited that long because I wanted to hear some presets first.
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
I love, love, love the adjustable noise gate! I also keep the gold channel button on because things just sound so clear and crisp. You can get some serious lo-fi stuff out of this thing too if you are into that stuff. The pitch correction and of course harmonies are superb and superior to the direct competition. The tweakable parameters as I mentioned earlier set this unit apart from some of their competitors attempts at making a "vocal box for dummies".
How is the tone?
For what you pay you WILL NOT find a better product. Is this thing an Eventide? NO but it's not geared toward that demographic. As a working musician I honestly feel like Digitech(Harman)cares about giving us working stiffs a high quality product.
How has it stood up over time?
I've only had it a week but my VL4 is 6 years old and my VL3 is 4 years old and both have no issues at all. I expect the same from this unit.
