I gave these a shot after I read and watched some reviews in an effort to tamp down the “zing” on my Stingray. These do that wonderfully and feel so much better than the typical slinky’s I was using. They feel somewhat softer to the touch and the winding does appear to be a bit tighter than my other round wounds. Time will tell how they hold up, but I am happy and the price seems right. I am not sure where some of these companies are getting off charging 45+ dollars for a set of strings.
At this time, I cannot imagine doing anything but these in this bass. I even ordered an extra set to have in hand.

I was a bit uneasy purchasing coated strings but decided to take a gamble on these because of their look. Now that they’re installed, I’m really digging the sound. Great high end and still got the boom I like from my strings!! Will definitely buy these again
