Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
Love them, never broke a string that wasn't my fault or caused by my bridge. Remember to follow the instructions and kink the string before cutting to length.
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
stainless, round core. Not too hard on the fingers. Good bright tone that cuts through(not as bright as Prisms, but not nearly as rough).
Sound
How is its Tone?
Mid 90's Ibanez SR800 4 string with EMG's and the three band EQ running through SansAmp RBI pre, QSC power, Hartke cabs. Tuned C F A# D# with the lower four strings. Sound= AWESOME
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
They feel great, these are MY strings
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Bright without being too harsh, if you want vintage P bass tone, this isn't for you. If you want a heavy modern tone that cuts through, these are for you.
