These are the only picks I've used for the past 20 years.

These are the only picks I've used for the past 20 years after that article in GuitarOne in the early 2000s. Regular picks are oversized for me and these fit perfectly. in 2019 I sliced off the side of my right thumb and as a result, picks now rotate in my hand because I'm missing the little bit of flesh that used to anchor it. The grip texture fixes that, only the sandpaper texture wears down long before the pick itself does. I've literally been using the same pick for 3 years and it's worn only to the point of rounding the tip a bit and smoothing down the grip.
I've tried the red and black, and now converted to the Carbon Fiber w/grip. I will literally be annoyed if I have to use anything else, as these are superior to regular picks.
I've got packs and packs of these tucked away in guitar cases in case they ever drop off the face of the Earth.

I wasn’t sure what a jazz pick was so I ordered a pack to try it out. I love the fact that it comes with a max grip. That is pretty cool. I didn’t know how small the picks were. I have carpel tunnel syndrome and it makes it hard for me to hang on to the pick. If only I could find a regular sized pick with the same max grip. If you know of one let me know.

I try to use many picks so I’m not stuck on one, but it seems I always circle back to jazz iiis. I however can never decide if I prefer these or the Eric Johnson version more. (Really just depends on the day)

Very small pick...

With big hands, this pick disappears within my hand and
that makes it a bit tough to handle. The good side is that it is a stiff pick which could be good for shredding and it has a non-skid gripping surface. The jury is still out on this one...

Sometimes I switch to another style but always end up back home using my jazz iii 1.36 dunlop max grip. They feel right and they work really excellent for tremolo riffs, gallops, and alternate picking. Not everyones cup of tea but I assure if you practice with one for a few weeks itll grow on you. When you guys gnna make a 96 pack for me : p

My only complaint over the years about the jazz3 was it was a little too slippery and now they have solved the issue. NICE!!

What can I say about these Jazz 3s? My favorite picks of all time. I pick pretty hard and these allow the punch, accuracy and the max grip design allows the picks to not leave my fingers! Awesome!!! Pick some up and take them for a spin yourself!

The no slip grip

After playing for over 30 years and using that purple pic for most of it I have finally found a pic that does not move or turn in my grip. I don’t know if it’s the grip texture, the carbon fiber or some magical voodoo mojo they put into these pics down there at the Dunlop Picatorium but they are great.

It took me a little while to get used to these. After studying Eric Johnson, I gave them a shot and now I love them. You can have a lot of speed and control without much effort.

I have been using jazz lll picks for a few years now. I like these picks but I do prefer the feel and bite I get from the tortex. Still a fine pick for clean or acoustic guitar.

I feel like I have a lot more control with these thicker, stubby picks than I ever did with traditional ones. It takes some practice to get a good strumming technique down, but for single notes or power chords these are awesome.

These picks are amazing. I've used the black Stiffo Jazz IIIs for about 12 years or more and have never been disappointed in their performance. However, sometimes they do get a little slippery, which causes me to grip harder with my fingers, thus causing fatigue more quickly. So far, these seem to fix the problem because with the rough gripping surface, I don't feel like I have to clamp down on the pick so much. The carbon fiber material looks and feels great too. I like the way it gives a more aggressive tone when I play heavy riffs. All in all, a great product. These are the best picks I can imagine using at the moment.
