So far this strap is great, the leather tips do not become too loose after initial break in which leaves my guitar securely strapped to me.

I bought this strap because I was told that one of Dunlop's specialties was producing guitar straps. What I heard was indeed correct. I am a daily player who spends numerous hours playing and practicing every day 365 days a year. This strap arrived nice and tight as a new material strap should, after a light flexing in my hands it became flexible and comfortable to wear but did not become weak. It is light but extremely strong. Despite the obvious price difference between this on the other leather straps, this is way more comfortable than any other leather strap that I have ever tried. I wanted the best strap I could find because it would be used to hold a Brian Moore Custom Shop guitar. The weight is much better than any of the leather straps that I tried and is just as strong, if not stronger than the leather.

If you have any issues with heavy equipment especially if you use a Les Paul and don't want to add to the weight of what you wear. This is definitely a much better alternative than a heavier leather strap.

I have not noticed any difference in my tone.

How did the stain or paint job look?
I am a very plain type of guy when it comes to my straps, I would much prefer to keep the attention on the looks of my guitar than my strap and this was one of the only straps I could find that came in 1 solid color never mind just straight black. The leather ends are top quality. the weave of the nylon appears to be extremely strong. The width of strap is comfortable and not over bearing.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
This has no effect on the action of my guitar.
