Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I can't really say about the newer MXR pedals yet, as I don't have enough and if you have read this review, you know why I am skeptical to comment on it, but my older MXR stuff was built like a tank and lasted very long. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Well, the first one was broke out of the package, and I have only had the new one about 3 weeks, but no problems with it yet. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Ok, The first one I got had a broken light for the EVH function and it came from the factory like that, so I had to send it back which was a pain. I have been hearing some bad things about Dunlop\MXR lately as far as the QC so I hope this isn't an indication of things to come with future purchases from them. The new one Arrived and I have had no probles with it and it sounds great! You have to buy an adapter for it though as it eats batteris in about 45 minutes and after about a half hour, it doesn't sound as good on the batteries. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? N\A Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone on this thing is thick and smooth. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The paint job on the EVH flanger is slightly diffrent from the EVH phase 90, it seems to have some sort of clear coat on it that shows a lot of blemishes. but what the heck, you are going to be stepping on the thing anyway. Action How was the action out of the box? N\A
