| Built like a tank, solid, well built. If you're not familiar with MXR pedals the battery access requires removing the back plate through four screws. Suggest running off pedal power instead, uses a Boss-style 9v power plug. | | Reliability:

| A great little compressor at $55, not so hot if it is the same price as the next level up MXR compressor which features an external attack knob. The Dynacomp features and internal attack trim pot (see above, requires back plate access), which is somewhat of a chore if you need to adjust the compressor. Great for a $55 compressor! | | Playability and Feel:
| Works great, does not pass any uncompressed signal through so you may get a pop or a click when playing after silence. This is a side effect of compression and not the products fault but could be aleviated by either passing some uncompressed signal (not ideal) or adjusting the attack rate to minimze the pop. | | Tone:
