Subject:Best Strap Lock Ever
Overall:

QUALITY:
The dunlop strap locks are the best that I've ever used. I have Schallers on my bass, and I decided to get Dunlops for my Gibson Les Paul because the Store didn't have Schallers. I'm glad that they didn't! Dunlop's give you total control they let your strap move freely and once you're strap is on there it is on there for good! Which is a good thing because that means it is not going to pop. I've had mine for a couple years now and played some pretty hardcore shows and my strap has never came off.

FEATURES:
Very easy to use. Just change the pins on your guitar, put the strap adapters on your strap...put the strap onto the strap buttons and thats it

Quality: These "dual design units are an improvement but still have the problem of bing clunky. At lease with these you can still use a regular strap without the looks in a pinch
Reliability: Should always make sure they are locked in. They can give you a false sense of security. I almost droped my G&L last year, because I thought that the lock was sequre when it wasn't
Overall: Good product. I have them on all three of my electrics

Finish: I was a little disapointed that these are brass instead of gold tone. They are not an exact match to my hardware but they will do.

You can rely on this product to protect your guitar. It's made well.

FEATURES:
Push a button to lock or unlock it.

EASE OF USE:
Assemble it to your strap and screw the base into your guitar with the screw provided (candle wax helps on the threads) or just use the original one. Occasionally lube the bearings on the plunger. The instructions say to use WD40 but I think graphite is better. Lock the plunger to the base pin and forget about your strap coming off.

VALUE:
First and most important upgrade you should make to your guitar. Its price is well worth the protection it provides.

SOUND:
Not sure about this one. Maybe they'll make some crazy squeal or squeak over time if you forget to lube them.
