It has balanced inputs and outputs, you can use it with RCA to 1/4" plug adapters and connect to your standard audio HiFi system or directly to a console or powered speakers with its balanced outputs. have separate Channels for outputs and headphones if you want, and still get 1 digital stereo input and output with standard midi in-out too.

Is easy to plug & play, install it's drivers and will be up and running in Win7, vista or xp (32 or 64 bit have tried all), and also in Mac 10.4. 10.5 and 10.6. have a console very easy to use and could get -10db in-out or +4db for a pro grade in-outs.

you will not get anything with this sound quality for this price, even with $600 price range. I have been search and test a lot and I keep with any of this audiofire audio interfaces. I got this Audiofire2 and 4 and also an 8 Pre, all awesome.
