How playable do you consider this product to be? Relatively easy to use if you know anything at all about PC's. Good driver support. This thing works well but you need to have some PC knowledge, remember just because you went to school and got a degree for something does not make you good at it! Value Was this item an overall good value? Yes, great value. I have had this for three years, through many projects and have never been let down.

Ok, here it is, I am a tech support professional, I have a degree in computer science, and I have never seen a more horrible driver or tech support! Windows7 x64 and when I first installed driver it would lock up my computer till it finally would not boot up! I had the tech support was no help at all and said " It's no a Echo driver issue. The problem is most likely related to your built in Firewire chipset", I purchased a new recommended Firewire card and still did not work. It got so bad I finally wiped my hard drive and reinstalled, it finally worked but would not change sample rate, I would have to plud it into my macbook to re adjust it then plug it back into my Windows machine, They came out with a new driver, I stupidly thought that they may have fixed things, Updated and Nope now locks computer up again!!! WTF now I have to reinstall my whole OS just to get the thing to work?!?! Works well with my macbook pro but thats not my recording computer. :-/ Value Was this item an overall good value? Invest in a computer guru to get it going in windows!!
