Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
excellent 5 stars. The black carpet covering is the only thing I can think of that I would rather change. however other than Peavey most cabinets have this material on them . as long as you dont have cats or dogs you wont have a problem lol
Features
What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could?
Unlike Hartke, and some other subpar cabinets, this cabinet offers you tweeter control. You can dial up , or back out the treble depending on how you like it. I have Hartke cabinet that has slight hiss in it, and I have to use EQ on amp to minimize all the hiss. this cabinet doesnt have that issue with the treble adjustment you can dial up your own sound.
Sound
How is the tone?
You have to hear it to believe it. Massive, focused, articulate, expressive, I could go on and on. I love my Goliath III with the 4 tens in it. However for a 2x10 cabinet this little puppy can rock the house with less weight. Obiviously if you playing a real large venue you would need to add another cabinet. But for playing small club ...dinner spot...this baby rocks the house.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
I have never thought once about returning this cabinet. I have never regretted getting this . the price tag is high...but you get what you pay for. So this cabinet is for the serious bassist. If you a beginner you dont need fork out all this dough.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
BOTTOM IS THICK WITH A LOT OF PUNCH. MID ARE CRYSTAL CLEAR, AND THE TREBLE IS SWEET AND SMOOTH, NOT IRRITATING AT ALL. AS A BASSIST I DONT WANT MY TREBLE TO HAVE THAT GLASS LIKE QUALITY ..I WANT MY TREBLE TO BE MELLOW . LOL
