Product Review To be clear, I bought this for studio recording. I wanted something low wattage, but loud enough to cut the mustard should a jam break out. I also wanted more than a basic 3 knob EQ, so I can let someone dial in their own sound on the amp, thereby giving me some idea of the sound they're looking for. This amp looked promising, so I bought it without ever hearing it. Fist off, the photo on the site is, apparently, an older model. Or a newer model. At any rate, mine has no horn. Just a port, in addition to the 2 10s. If the horn is a priority for you, I'd call and see which version you're getting before ordering. Now, with that being said, I'll also state that I believe that Eden probably figured out that they didn't need a horn on a cab with 2 10s. This thing has plenty of snap and sproing on the top end, if you want it. You can see the controls in the photos. LOTS of gain on tap, and more than enough volume for anywhere but a large stage, unless you don't own microphones. Outta room!

Product Review At only 180 watts, this is quite the little combo. The 210 setup works very well with 4-string basses, active or passive. I really like the tone this amp brings to the table. The EQ section is straight-forward, but allows you to tweak it to your liking. It can be pretty loud for a combo at only 180 watts. I played it for over an hour, and I was impressed. What surprised me more was the fact that it handled a Warwick 5-string Corvette bass, with no distortion from plucking or thumping the low B-string. Amazing. Do I own one? No. Would I buy one? Yes. This price is great. Anywhere else I've seen it, they want $100.00 dollars more. AMS has the best value for this product

The amp is fine if you use a good external cab.

Product Review Generally, I like more power, not for volume but headroom. I have 2 4-12 SWR Golliath 3, 4 ohm. Huge difference in sound quality and volume. To me the 2 10s in the combo sound boxy. When used with the golliath its a totally new amp. I dont own the combo but rather a friend owns it and many times I go and just use his amp when we pratice instead of bringing my much less convienent amp. Even at very low volumes you can notice the speaker difference. Right now I use a QSC power amp with a Pod X3 Pro, because I also play guitar and electric drums Roland TD 20. I was considering the combo for portability but now Im thinking I would be better off getting a bass head and keeping my Goliaths, Im not complaining about my rig at all except that its a rack setup which is the least convenient. But the sound is incredible. For the price of 800 dollars for this combo, if they changed the speakers maybe I would buy it but not the way its set up now. Reason I'm looking at this today was to find out more about them. because my friends which is say 6 months old, light duty. Completely fried. I wasn't playing loud. We shall see what is wrong with it but I have amps 30 and 40 years old tat don't die like that Change the speaker system, or better speakers or bigger cab or something. DO NOT LIKE THE SOUND WITH JUST the combo playing. Plug it into a high quality
