Product Rating Product Review Great price. Light weight and easy to carry. I use them for my bar gigs. At first they sounded a little muddy but I had to play with my x-over. I have them over the EV subs. It's a nice clean set up.

Product Review Have only used these for two gigs so far but they are incredible. Far and above the Yamaha Club 15's I have been using. These speakers are crystal clear across the frequency spectrum I'm feeding them with our acoustic act. Two acoustic guitars, a bass and 3 vocals. Much better bass response than I had anticipated. I am very pleased with my purchase and as usual, AMS has been stellar. Shipped VERY quickly.

Product Review Seriously, this thing beats anything out of its price range by far and out. The key to it? Qualtiy high powered amplifiers. Get a decent crown or somthing well known and get a power rating HIGHER than the speaker. This way you leave yourself headroom. People hearing distortion could be clipping their amp, not the speaker. This thing can handle almost any powr you throw at it. GET ONE TODAY!

Product Review I wasn't expecting much after being a Peavey owner, the clarity and low end punch is superior,I will have give them some time to test the durability.

Honestly the the cabinet is made well but the finish something to be cautious of. If not careful you will have some scratch and scraps or other major blemishes. It's a tie for the BEST features of this speaker which is between the overall appearance of the cabinet, the weight and also the sound. Like I stated earlier I would only recommend something a little more durable as far as the texture only because it chips EASILY!!! But of course it does look better than the plastic and way better than the carpet. So thats why I will would buy another pair anyway. 3 Words (Plug and Play), The product was very easy to use. The only other way to make it easier is to have 1/4" jacks instead of speakon but it's not mandatory. The manual is helpful to research specs but other than that the speaker is very playable and easy to use. The sound is great. Even at high volume. It's clean and clear and have the lows if needed. Your general opinion of this product. Honestly the speaker is well worth it. I have only 2 for now but thats just to test them in various venues. Now since I've tortured them along with ELX118 subs I need another set of both.

excellent quality; E-V's reputation for reliability is a given. reasonable size/weight; only negative is the absence of 1/4 inch jacks (speak-on only; be ready to upgrade your cables, too!) no-brainer; plug in and rock out! accurate, full of detail. Give these babies the watts they deserve (like the earlier reviewer, I powered mine with a QSC GX-5 amp and the results were amazing)

Extremely well made. Have only used them for one practice and one show but so far so good. I have had other EV's that were very dependable. Lightweight design/portability/power rating. Just plug and play, easy speakon connectors and stackable. Lightweight and Affordable. I have always been a big EV fan and will continue to do so. In terms of the frequency response, clarity of the vocals, and the punch these babies pack you can't go wrong. Just make sure to match up the correct power amp and you'll be extremely pleased. With a RMS power rating of 400 you should have at least 500 watts of continous power. I'm using a QSC GX5 amp with 500 watts per channel at 8 OHMs and 700 watts at 4 OHMs and haven't been dissapointed. For those of you who are new to this. The difference between 4 and 8 OHMs is simple. If you do a stereo set up (meaning one speaker per channel) you are at 8 OHMs. If you run two speakers (with one woofer in the cabinet) you are at 8OHMs. Keep in mind that if you use the EV ELX215 Cabinet which house 2 15" woofers you are already at 4 OHMs and should not hook up additional cabinets. Great clarity in the vocals. I'm using Shure Beta 87's,an Audix OM7 and occasionally an EV n/d767 and the tones are awesome through these speakers.
