Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I've read many reviews and saw a few that claimed the mic crapped out after being dropped. I've had mine for about ten years. Dropped it a couple times and no problem. After being yelled at and spit into for that long, I consider it dependable and made well. Been used extensively outdoors in humid conditions and in the sun until it was almost too hot to touch. Rode hard and put away wet[literally]. Features What do you consider to be the best features of this product? What features would you add to this product if you could? Good feedback rejection. Powerful. Rejects background noise well. Bass Roll-off switch allows control of proximity effect. Ease of Use How easy is this product to use? How easy is the product to use with other products? Did it take long for you to learn to use this product? Was the manual helpful? How playable do you consider this product to be? Plug and play. Just decide if you want to use the bass roll-off or not[switch] Sound How is the tone? It is voiced and shines in a live situation where loud stage volumes and high SPL's are present. Other mics including the time tested shure's are not as good to me in that regard because the "bleed" sucks up too much of the PA and results in muddying up the mix. The ND-967 truly delivers in that way. Don't let the freq. specs fool you. It has plenty enough high-end range. Only the Audix OM-7 rejects feedback better but unless you have high-end mixer pre's you will probably end up running an outboard mic pre because they are such low-gain mics.
