Product Review I downsized my system a few months ago from SX300's to these speakers. I power them with a Mackie 808S. The band I play with is 5 piece, miking 5 vocals and tenor sax. I've had no problem at all with volume or fidelity. The only thing was a slight change in EQ, adding a little bass to compensate for the 8's. I also like that they only weigh 18 pounds. Great value!

Great Little PA with Big Sound

Very well made. Although it is lightweight, it has more weight to it than your eyes would make it seem. Lightweight Portable Plug and play. I use it with a Yamaha powered EMX series Mixer. Makes for a great rental system. Quality is A1. I've heard less sound come out of speakers twice its size.

Small and loud but with extra noises you don't want.

The speaker I bought has buzzes, rattles, and an air leak through one screw hole. I'll be returning this lemon for another hopefully without these problems. The buzz is so obvious it would have been pulled immediately if EV would bother to sound check their products. Compact, lightweight, and loud. Can be laid on its side and used a stage monitor. Built-in handle really doesn't give you much grip but is adequate. Plug and play; the only user adjustment is a rotatable horn from 90 to 50 deg. I like the tone: warm and focused, nice defined high end but not brittle.

THERE SOLID AND WELL BUILT. THIS LIGHTWEIGHT SPEAKER SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. GREAT SOUND AND LIGHT WEIGHT. WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME BUILT IN HANDLES. PLUG IN AND THERE READY TO GO, LIGHT WEIGHT AND EASY TO HANDLE A GREAT TONE. IVE BEEN USING THE OLD BOSE 801 FOR YEARS. THESE ACTUALLY SOUND BETTER AND HALF THE WEIGHT. I USED THESE SPEAKERS AT A CHURCH I WAS PERFORMING AT. I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH THEM I GOT THE NAME AND MODEL NUMBER OF THIS SPEAKER FROM THE PASTOR, AND PUT IN A ORDER FOR SOME A FEW WEEKS LATER. YOU WILL LOVE THESE SPEAKERS AND HOW THEY SOUND I PROMISE YOU.

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Fabulous speakers, very light but durable.

FEATURES:
This speaker rocks for its size. We just played for a hall with 600 people with two subs and two ZX-1s. The party hostess actually came from the back of the room and told us we could turn it down a little.

EASE OF USE:
Easy to set up, nothing extraneous.

VALUE:
I'll buy another pair if these ever wear out.

SOUND:
Crisp, clear, effortless sound. Incredibile for an 8' speaker and horn.

Best small speaker cabinet on the market!

Your general opinion of this product.

QUALITY:
Fit and finish is very good for this type of speaker. The all metal grille is nice and gives it a very smooth look.

FEATURES:
Power rating of 200 watts RMS continous is amazing for a speaker this size and weight! A couple of 1/4" phone jacks along with the Speakons would have been nice. The top handle could have used a grippier surface but the cabinets are light enough not to be a problem.

EASE OF USE:
The small size and light weight make this about as easy as moving, setting and packing up can possibly be! You will appreciate it most at the end of the night or if there are stairs! The speakers can be pole-mounted directly on the SB122 subs with just a speaker pole which also saves space not having to use a tripod stand!

VALUE:
The price-point is good and even though there are larger cabinets for the same price, you can't beat the portability and sound quality!

SOUND:
Sound quality is very
