Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Wiring set-up is very simple, only thing they leave out is exactly what to do with the 9V battery. It fit in just fine, but it would be nice if there was more instruction on what to do other than just cram it in there somewhere. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only had it a few weeks, but I don't foresee any particular problems unless wiring connectors don't stay put. General Your general opinion of this product. Got exactly what I expected. An easy to install upgrade for my MIM Fat Strat. Has a lot tighter sound for playing heavy styles of music, but will play clean nicely as well. Nice and solid. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Wide range of sound, I mainly wanted it for heavier rock/Metallica style music and it definately works well for that. Gets good harmonics even on neck setting. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Nothing to go wrong here, standard pearl white pick guard with black knobs. Would be nice if it came with black hardware since no local stores have black hardware in stock. Action How was the action out of the box? Nothing complicated. Took a total of 25 minutes to install, and that includes removing old strings and making some other adjustments to trem at the same time.
