Product Review My old Peavey Classic 20 sounded tired. After a recent re-tube, it still needed help. Swapped out the old stock speaker for the Legend 105. Wow! Perfect upgrade all the way around.

The speaker is made in the USA and looks to be made very well. Your general opinion of this product. I put this speaker in my VHT Special 6. It made a noticeable improvement in an amp that already sounded very good.

Only have had it for a few weeks. Eminence speakers last decades though. Your general opinion of this product. Great sounding speaker at a low price. Has gaskets on the front AND back, so it can easily be front loaded or back loaded. Rubber ring around ceramic magnet seems like a great idea to protect from chipping magnet or prevent iron junk stuck to it. 8 mounting holes instead of just 4 give more mounting-clocking options. "Feels" like a standard 10" speaker. Nice and bright but not spikey. Good response from bass to treble. Replaced a dull sounding speaker in a Mesa Subway Rocket. This really made the amp clear and articulate instead of its previous muffled and dull sound. The seamed 5-inverted-rib cone with no surround doping is what makes this sound so nice. Other speakers I have used had heavy surround doping that really damped out the treble response. Just say nope to dope!
