The Wizard Rules!

Product Review
I have been trying different speakers in my Marshall Haze 40, Haze 15, Dsl 40 and Dsl 20 and every time the Eminence Wizard wins the shoot out. It has the right type of break up and tone for 70’s/80’s Rick as well as sweet blues sounds. You wouldn’t think swapping one brand of speaker for another would make that much difference but it does. Other brands in the same price range and higher don’t compare. Mine is from the Red Coat series and it has the red powder coated frame. If I get a chance to buy another like it I certainly will! Product Review
I have been a professional musician/audio engineer most all of my life and have been after a certain guitar tone since I started playing guitar which was over 40 years ago. I have been using Celestion Greenbacks and Vintage 30's for several years now but was never completely satisfied with the sound. I had an incident where someone robbed me and stole all of my Celestion speakers out of (2) 4x12 cabinets. So since I was never satified with my tone anyway, I decided to do some extensive research and listen to sound clips,You Tube videos, and talk to many people. So after all that, I spoke to someone at Eminence and explained exactly or as close to what I was looking for and he suggested The "Wizard" I did another month of listening and research and deciced to take his advice and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made!!! These Speakers are in my opinion better in every respect to what I was using before they have "that" sound!!! big, huge that I never could get before!!

I still use a peavey bandit. I had to leave town to play out of state and I had blown the original speaker. So I ran to the music store to buy a speaker. The salesman suggested the red coat wizard 100 watt and at first I didn't like it a whole lot but when i bought my music man guitar with humbuckers it really sounds awesome now. Just still in an old bandit 65. And now I have a tube works speaker that I know is an eminence. I now use it at the concerts I play at. Other players are carrying in New rigs and I bring in my bandit with a red coat and I blow em away sound wise. I am happy.

I bought this to put in my 1x12 extension cab for my Mesa Boogie 1x12 combo amp that has an Eminence Governor in it. The two together is a great combination, they sound great!

I have ordered Governors and Man O War speakers and put them in a 2x12 speaker cabinet I made for my Mesa Boogie Mark IIIamp head. The result was very impressive. This time I built a 1x12 extension cabinet for my 1x12 Mesa Boogie Mark III combo amp which I had previously loaded with the Governor. This set up kicks butt!!!
I'm completely sold on Eminence Speakers. They totally rock and can handle powerful tube amps.

I replaced the old Celestion 70/80, in my Marshall dsl40c, and oh what a difference. The old speaker just sounded thin to me. But the wizard completely rejovinated this amp. I now how the lows that I wanted, and it added the gerth this amp was missing. I highly recommend this speaker.

Just what I was looking for in the sound dept, I perhaps should have got it in 16 instead of 8ohms. Instead of my cab I was building I replaced the celestion in my 75w spider and this spkr kicks butt. Put the celestion in my fender 2x12 the eminence just brings so much more sound into the spider in going to get one for my 50w laney
