How was the action out of the box? The action is actually very good out of the box. Its a little high at the top frets where you can not play too well anyways so it was not a big issue. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Other than a few really not noticeable finish flaws, it seems like it is put together very well and I feel it will last a long time. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have not had it too long yet but like anything if you take care of it I am sure it will last General Your general opinion of this product. This is one of the best sounding guitars I have played especially if looks is one of your factors in purchasing. Very good lows mids and bright highs all in one. The colors are not as bright red as it seems which is definitely a good thing and all the pearloid inlays, etc. look great. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I like the neck not too thick like most acoustics. It feels like my Epiphone Les Paul Ultra III, great for fast movement. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It has the best all around sound in this price range. Very bright sound on the highs and a good deep sound for the lows. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? There were a few little very minor finish flaws but you have to look for them but for a 300 dollar guitar, especially a gloss finish, it looks great.

Im in the process of replaceing my Hummingbird ( mine was stolen ) For my money its the best guitar on the market for the money. You wont find a better playing guitar unless you want to spend 3k or more on a new Gibson Hummingbird. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? For the time I have owned it, I can't say how dependable it is. It has some small flaws in the finish that I can certanly live with. I have only played it a few times. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I don't know General Your general opinion of this product. What a great guitar for the price Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It feels good. no controls. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? It has a pretty full sound Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Pretty darn nice. Action How was the action out of the box? Not bad. It seems to need a set up. the 12th fret is off a bit, but you can't really play up there anyway

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Solid, beautiful guitar-should last forever, with proper care. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Still a new product, but play Epiphones that I've had for years with no problems. General Your general opinion of this product. Outstanding Value. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Great feel to the guitar. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Mostly bright sound, but as I said, it has a throaty bass. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Gorgeous paint job. Action How was the action out of the box? Good action-playable with no modifications.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Solid, by comparison to equally priced. excellent finish. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Only had it for a month, too soon. General Your general opinion of this product. I am very pleased with this guitar, BUT, get better strings when you buy it. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Again, as an electric player, the action is, acoustic. However, the neck is very comfortable, the tuners are solid, and stay in tune. It's a well balanced instrument, and has a pleasant feel. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Even Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Web and catalog pics show a washed out, yellowy/orange finish. In the, er, wood, it's a nice dark heritage vintage cherry. Action How was the action out of the box? action was carefully checked, and right. Still a hair tall, but I'm an electric player.
