Quality:
seems great, i have absolutly no complaints. its not a $5000 taylor, but as far as im concerned, surprised it doesnt cost a whole lot more
Sound:
strings def could use replacing out, mainly to increase tone, but even with them, its holds tune very well
Reliability:
dont know how the test of time will go, since i havent had it but for a month, but it seems to be built very well, expecially for that price range.
Overall:
extremely happy with the look of the guitar ( mine is vintage sunburst), which is a whole lot more vivid than what it looks like in the picture. the guitar just shines, its beautiful. the playability is awesome, expecially for someone who may be just starting off, right out of the box, even with the cheap strings it comes with, not rattles, bridge is perfect, and easy to bar. absolutly love it. ive always played washburn and alvarez, and this one def makes me smile everytime i pick it up
Playability and Feel:
well, it def has a jumbo feel, took a lil to get used to after playing my washburn and friends alvarez all the time, but isnt heavy at all, just a noticible diffrence in size, and definitly DEFINITLY buy a jumbo case, cause theres no way itll fit in a standard guitar case...kicked myself on that one
Tone:
well, with the strings that come with it, it did take a couple days to get the twangy noise out, but by the time i did, i changed the strings to slinky coated strings anyways, and it made a night|day difference. but it does have a excellent bass tone, as well as being bright
Finish:
if the guitar is in the same room as me, i have a hard time not looking at it, much less not walking over to pick it up, usually just stays in my lap. the vintage finish is much better than the picture shows, it really stands out
Action:
action is great

Third times a charm...
Quality:
The first two where not even worthy of the Epiphone name. I realize these are made overseas, but the quality on the first two was dismal. I am not sure how the first two even made it past the "USA" inspectors. However, #3 is flawless.
Sound:
A little thin, but I think a string change will help.
Reliability:
We will see. It seems pretty solid.
Overall:
I ordered one a month ago and after two returns for pieces of wood that where both unplayable and damaged, I finally got number 3 today. The difference between what I got today verses the first two guitars is amazing. The finish on #3 is perfect. The bindings and fret work are excellent and it was playable out of the box. The finish is breath taking even for being a laminated top. My advice is look it over really good and return it if you don't like what you see. The AMS people where quick and helpful with the two returns.
Playability and Feel:
The neck is pretty fast. The frets are surprisingly even. I am not kidding when I said the first two where real pieces of junk.
Tone:
The tone is a bit thin. But I can definitely say that new strings are going to help this. I played a Gibson J200 and this is pretty close.
Finish:
Perfect.
Action:
Playable right out of the box.

I love my EJ200. For the price it is the best purchase I've made.
Playability and Feel:
The neck is a little different than my others, but plays great.
Tone:
The EJ has a thick sound.
Finish:
The finish looked great, just a few minor blemishes, but like I said, for the price...
Action:
The action could use adjustment out of the box, but definitely not bad.

Epiphone has NEVER let me down on the quality of their products.

Unbelievable tone - this thing just booms and sings!
Reliability:
Brand New.
Overall:
Great guitar.
Playability and Feel:
It's a big guitar - might be uncomfortable for smaller players. Faaasssstt neck.
Tone:
Booming - I suspect the tone may mellow over time - but honestly, this baby sang right out of the box.
Finish:
Perfect - no flaws.
Action:
I would say close to perfect - plays nearly as easy as an electric.

I just took it out of the box!
Quality:
High quality, and we're talking about a $400 guitar. I've tried Taylors and Martins and this $400 guitar sounds and plays great.
Sound:
Beautiful tone, very bright, not sure if it's the real jumbo tone, but sounds really good, tons of mids.
Reliability:
I just got it, hard to say...
Overall:
Maybe it's too soon to write a review, but as soon as I took this guitar out of the box I got really impressed.
Playability and Feel:
Feels great in my hands, I have no idea about the string on it, but they feel great, it's a really comfortable instrument. I tried this guitar on a store and ordered from AMS and the one I got sounds even better, and feels better too.
Tone:
Bright tone with tons of mids, you could get more bass replacing the strings. Lots of sustainer. It's really easy to pull cool sounds from this guitar. If you're thinking about buying an epiphone...I would say this guitar is the only choice. I've played the AJ series and they lack many things specially sound.
Finish:
Great finish, no defects, nice and smooth. Beautiful gold hardware and nice details.
Action:
Action is nice, maybe requires some adjustment, especially to play around the 12th fret. But nothing that really bothers.
Skill Level:
Semi-Pro
