Since my my semi-pro work made me a bass player, I finally realized that I should have been buying EB3s all along just to emulate the feel of the SG I always wanted. The SG style just has that indefinable something that makes it the epitome of "electric guitar." Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Spicy variety.
