Once the Viola arrived and unpackaged I did some minor setup chores and I have to say I m very pleased. It plays like a dream, it’s beautiful, and it’s tones are just what I hoped for. Product Review I purchased the Epiphone Viola Bass as my first bass. As an avid Beatles fan, I couldn’t pass up this bass guitar for obvious reasons. First off, I like that it has that classic Höfner Violin bass look that Paul McCartney made so famous. Secondly, I was drawn to finding that classic bass sound as heard on so many classic rock albums. Since this bass is hollow, it is extremely light; playing this bass for hours will not be a problem. The knobs are very simple and make this passive bass very versatile. The finish on this bass is stunning. It has the traditional sunburst design and the neck is it outlined in white with black finish on the sides. Again, this bass is beautiful. Product Review Bass isn’t my primary instrument, but I occasionally play for church. I obviously like the look, and I like the short scale format. Very easy to handle. Does it sound like a big heavy Rickenbacker bass? No. Does it sound exactly like a $3000 German Hofner? No? But it has a nice warm vintage sound. It is a great item for the price, and I would gladly buy it again.

Product Review Amazing instrument....especially for the low, low price....Yes, I have played a Hofner and this compares in every way...so, why spend hundreds if not thousands more...I am a huge fan of Epiphone...have a Casino, Dot, had a JC bass (sold it..needed money at the time)...Epiphone acoustics....whether you're a beginner or established in a band...this won't disappoint...and you'll have money left over for a killer amp (something you won't have if you spend tons for a Hofner)....

I then ordered the rouge viola bass from guitar center same deal waited almost 3 weeks still no bass canceled order. I was like whats going on with trying to get a viola style bass, so then i came across AMS they had easy payment plans and two day shipping so i said to myself will give them a try, Well shock me i got my bass in two days came double boxed and in fantastic shape. Product Review It came in with no scratches or marks, it works really well and was in tune when I got it. I personally found it really simple. Though that may be because I have experience in music and playing guitar. But for a new player it would probably be easy to pick up and fun to play too.

Product Review I LOVE THIS BASS!!! Came out of the box set up perfectly. A little tuning and she was making beautiful sound. The tone is amazing! The balance is good. And she’s absolutely beautiful! Only complaint is that my fingers got a little black after a few minutes, so probably a good wipe down is in order. I will definitely recommend this bass to others! Clean plucky tones on Stand By Me and then mean crunchy tones for some Led Zeppelin. I’m extremely happy with this purchase!

Product Review I like the way it looks. I like the way it plays. I like the way it sounds. Very good response as far as I'm concerned Aesthetically pleasing. How can you say something bad about a 4 string bass guitar that looks almost like something Paul McCartney once played. This bass was made in Korea. The finish is absolutely beautiful. No fret buzz, mine came perfectly ready to play after tuning it. You MIGHT not appreciate no switches to control the pick ups, but I'm 100% completely satisfied with it myself. Damn, I give it 100 stars right now. I'm very happy with my purchase for what that's worth to you. There ARE two VOLUME control knobs and 1 for tone. For some reason I have to turn one volume control to around 5 instead of 10 for max volume, it otherwise diminishes in the direction of 0 or 10. Personally, I'm okay with that. I hope this helps because when it comes to the details of many a matter as you may well-know, at some point it comes down to a matter of personal taste.

yes very the design of the body very pitched toned and sound Your general opinion of this product. i like it it is very well structured it feels very light and the neck is very straight and well adjusted and the controls are very accurate. its very bright and smooth the pickups were very mellow. the paint job is very well stained and well set. the action was very good. and excellent.
