Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I think the quality of this guitar is normal. Theres nothing to fancy on it but theres nothing that brings it down. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have had the guitar for about 2 months now and had two problems with it. The first problem was with the truss rod lossing up. That might have been my fault but maybe not. The other problem which just started about a week ago is the volume knob has started acting on its own. I believe that the knob has some lose wires or something but its got to be fixed because it kills the sound completly when it F***s up. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This guitar is a really good guitar and started out great. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I feel is good. Has a long neck and frets are spaced well. The volume knob always seems to be in the way when struming. O wait it is! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I love the pick-ups its just i hate bateries. I like the clean sound of this guitar better then the dark. I think its just my little 25 watt amp but if i had better amp then the sound would be greatly improved Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Paint job look great just be careful easily collets dust and figer prints. I would recomend cleaning daily. Action How was the action out of the box? Looked so good coming out of the box i wanted to lick it! :)

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? My Korean Epiphone was well made but I am worried about the quality I have seen on the two recent Chinese EM2's. Hopefully the third will be ok. Looks hurried and a touch sloppy. Reliability How has it stood up over time? My earlier Epiphone EM2 (Korean) from about 15 years ago was good. Both of the recent ones had to be returned. (One due to the neck/truss rod and the other due to a dent.) Overall Your general opinion of this product. In generally I really like the design but I am disappointed in the quality. FYI: I owned the earlier Epiphone EM2 (Korean) about 15 years ago. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck design and C cutaway is the other great design feature I like which is why I will still try another. The neck and cutaway are very comfortable. Fits very easily in hands (large hands). Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The Epi Active pickups can produce some very nice clear and well defined chords. The three positions (Bridge, Both, Rhythm) all sound nice but I have not had it all that long. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The Sapphire paint job looks very nice. But there are a number of little imperfections, scratches and stains which are a shame. The second one had a dent about 1 inch square. Action How was the action out of the box? The replacement has pretty good action but a little buzz on one string. Would be ok with a setup and tiny bit of leveling. The first had poor action since the truss rod was loose and the neck needed more relief.
Surprize Surprize!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Time will tell but like anything else much depends on how well it is treated and I take very Good care of my Stuff. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it for a few Days but it is well made and I think it will do fine. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Absolutely worth the Money.. I like to buy and collect affordable guitars. I'm always looking for something different... This guitar is unique and a great value especially considering the price. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It does play well and it does play fast... The neck is smaller the any of my other 16 guitars which would make this a great guitar for a younger person. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Sounds very good Clean or dirty. Hot or Cold. It sounds good with the Pickup activated and also sounds good with the pickups deactivated and in the passive mode.. This is the first guitar I've ever owned with both Active and/or Passive Pickups with a push pull control. It's really neat.. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Finish is very Good.. It is a nice looking guitar.. Action How was the action out of the box? Out of the box this Guitar was not ready to go, but after a few minor adjustments to the action it was playing quite well.. It was set a little high, but someone else may have liked it the way it was setup so I it would say it is a matter of taste.
