General Your general opinion of this product. This is great guitar for the money!!! This will be a slightly long review of the Epiphone Firebird in Pelham blue. Great tonal quality and feeds back nicely controllable, of course! I purchased this on payments and was different feeling with guitar also being back-ordered but guitar came sooner than expected and payments not a bad option at all! I would recommend making sure you're item is in stock if not wanting to wait a short time for it! Again the wait was shorter than expected and not that big of a deal. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The product is very well made. The weight seems to be balanced where as some Firebirds are neck heavy! The materials used to make it seems to be of good quality and no problems with electronics. Just tone, volume and pick-up selector, which is good for making the "kill-switch" noise by turning off pickup volume on either neck or bridge pick-up! Only one slight problem which I'll get to later on, not a bad problem but slightly annoying for a bit! It involves the strings and the Steinberger tuners! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is somewhat dark but can be modified depending on Amp,settings and accessories! Pickups running through a 100-watt amp seemed to feedback a bit but played with a little distance from my amp and was good to go.Pedals and effects WILL color your sound regardless of what you do to it! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is pretty much blue other than the tuners being silver and pick-guard being black, you have a almost sky blue guitar! Nice finish and nice color but color isn't the reason for the purchase! The reliability of this guitar is not a question, it looks and feels like it will last quite a while!
Excellent Guitar!

General Your general opinion of this product. Well put together. I love the shape of the firebird. I would suggest moving the front strap button to the rear by the neck joint (like in SGs). The Gibson models have it there and that remedies the neck dive. Also, the steinberger gearless tuners are the best I've ever used. They're extremely sensitive and smooth and the guitar stays in tune perfectly. Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The guitar is pretty solid. The switch and tone/ volume pots work smoothly without any scratchiness. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The pickups are a big improvement over the older pickups epiphone used to put into every electric guitar. The neck is war without being muddy and the bridge has a good treble and upper mid-range response. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The pelham blue looks stunning. Ofcourse, since it's the TV finish the paint is translucent so it shows the wood grain through the color. It's more like a dark stain than a solid color.
Buy this and you will not be dissapointed.. Its is a great feeling and well crafted guitar.
