Product Rating Product Review When you first pick up this guitar you realize you've got something different than anything else in the Epiphone line. The first time I plugged it in those active pickups really set the stage for true shredding, those licks with the pinch harmonics that you've always dreamed of doing are very easily attainable. This is an amazing guitar!

Product Review I don't know why this beauty doesn't have a longer scale for downtuning, and the bridge is so high for a seven string. The tuning pegs feel plastic are my only issues with this. It don't take a genius to figure these issues out in the building process. It now just sits in the corner as decoration.

Product Review Ordered this guitar because I'm a big fan of Trivium, Les Pauls, and wanted to get more into playing a 7-string. I've played other seven-strings that were more economy-priced than this one and was way more satisfied with those guitars than this one. The first issue is the scale length. I generally play tuned down a half step, and given that Trivium plays that tuning and specifically on this guitar, I figured the standard scale length wouldn't be an issue; I was wrong. Just dropped a half-step turned this guitar into a muddy mess, even after setting it up and making adjustments for the lesser tension. The guitar barely holds up for standard 7-string tuning. The hardware felt extremely cheap, especially the tuners. The tuners on my Epi LP Custom Pro are more substantial and sturdy feeling than on this guitar, and it was 200 bucks cheaper than this. The Epiphone strap locks that are included ruined and stripped out the bottom strap peg. Overall, I am wholly dissatisfied with this guitar. AMS Responds: Thank You for your review. We are sorry that did not meet your expectations.

Product Review This is truthfully the best guitar I've ever played. I've had my hands on 10+ guitars and this is a blessing. I was in the market for a 7 string and I prefer the les Paul shape, I knew Matt had one so I did tons of research before purchasing and it turned out to be better than I expected. The smaller scale does NOT affect your tuning stability on the low B. It's a heavier guitar and very quality built one at that. Pickups are great dirty and clean, I do a lot of clean and it was surprisingly great. Hardware is all top notch and the access heel is so comfortable. I didn't do much soloing till I had this, now I love to, it plays itself it's that easy. It was delivered fast and all together no issues at all, the certificate of authenticity with it is one of the coolest additions to a guitar as well. Overly satisfied, I think I might even buy the 6 string version.

Product Review Got this and I could not be happier! It is perfect for the type of stuff I play and the cut out on the neck makes it even better for shredding Looks great and everything works perfectly! Neck is amazing! Smooth and fast! Wasn't very happy with the EMG 707 and 81-7 but switched them out for some Seymour Duncan Blackouts phase 2 and it changed everything! So much clarity and such a great tone. Finish is amazing and no imperfections at all. Greatest guitar for the price period! Was perfect! I play in Drop F so I had to adjust it a little for the tuning but it went easy and sounds amazing!
