Product Rating Product Review I was looking for a travel guitar or just something to pick up easily and pick a little on around the house, that also sounded good. The Epiphone Les Paul Express is that guitar. Just pick it up and go. Plug into to any size amp and it releases has that cool, full bodied Les Paul tone. Also, the price was excellent and affordable for this guitar. I can’t believe the price and quality. Very pleased and now I’ll be able to stay practiced up anywhere I go.

Product Review I got this for my lesson studio. I've got this and the squier equivalent. For 5-10 year olds coming in to learning guitar these are great to get acquainted with however... Shorter scale length means that standard strings are going to be under the equivalent tension of a full length tuned to about C# standard. So if you're looking for any quality in intonation and action you'll need to set these things up yourself. I've never bothered with the time/expense to have that done so I can't vouch for whether that turns these into work horses or not...

I love this guitar because of its smaller size and the look is wonderful.

Product Review I bought this to play when sittng in my recliner paired with a Zoom G1on and a set of headphones. Worked out great - nice size and light. Fit and finish is about what you would expect in a guitar in this price range with a little fret sprout although not uncomfortable. The weak spot seems to be the tuners, I am going to replace these with kluson style soon, the supplied tuners don't seem to operate very smoothly even after adjusting the tension. A good setup yielded reasonably low action and intonation was in the range of the saddles. I do recommend heavier strings, I'm not sure what guage was supplied but it was quite sensitive to finger pressure altering the tuning, I used a set of D'Adarrio XL 49-11 and that seems to have solved the problem for me. Nice guitar after a couple of minor tweaks and a keeper. Tone is great as well. If you are looking to set up a travel or recliner rig I would recommend this as well as the Zoom G1ON (built in drums and looper).

Product Review Even though getting it in "perfect tune" is practically impossible, it is the best sounding, easiest playing and most awesome Slide Guitar(E-Tuning) I have ever played. Love it!

Product Review With just a little adjustment, on the intonation, it was ready for my Grandson to play. It's the right size for a 9 year old and easy enough to play, that he brings the Les Paul Express and my guitar to me so I can teach him chords. He says it doesn't even hurt his fingers to hold the chords. I would recommend it for any child to learn on, and it's fun for me to play around with also. It stays in tune pretty well.

Product Review A very nice guitar for the price. I had thought that this was a 24 inch scale, but it is barely more than 22 . Those inches can mean a lot in terms of the best sound for some music; but apart from a bit of ; typical; string buzz from the low string tension, and a less harmonic-rich tone; add a couple pedals and crank it up, this little guy is fun, and a hell of a deal for such an historic instrument. Nay-sayers can say nay; I say, my shorty Paul does just fine. Very happy, thank you, Epiphone

Product Review I bought this guitar to play while sitting in my recliner at night while I watch TV and I couldn't be happier! I knew it wasn't going to be like my other Les Pauls, but I was actually surprised at what a nice quality little guitar it is. it is just a small bodied Les Paul special with the same neck pickups and hardware. It is also very light weight so I find self grabbing it and walking playing it rather than my much heavier full size Les Pauls. Bottom line I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a small, light weight, great sounding and playing guitar.

Product Review not even one star for this... the neck was bent right out of the box. i know you don't get much for $120.00 but they should make sure the guitar has a straight neck on it... can't stay in tune . impossible
