Likelihood to Repurchase What is your opinion of this product? This is one of many Guitars I have owned and wish I still had. I love the sound of this Axe the most thru my Marshall ValveState 2000 AVT amp. I am only using special effects thru the amp and the Wilshire sounds great for soft or hard rock. I had to get a pro set-up done as the action was quite high for my playing style. Yes the fretboard is larger than my Fender Jaguar I had, or a Les Paul. But the more I play this guitar the more I love it. I gave four stars just because of the High action and the strings were not put on right and were slipping. If you have a very small hand I would go with the SG style guitar but if you have medium to large hands this guitar is great for my needs. I have over 40 years playing experience and play Hard Rock, Soft Rock, Blues, and Metal. I would buy this guitar again but remember you will need a pro setup unless you are a beginner and then its a great learning guitar. I intend to use it for practice, gigging, & recording. Well done Epiphone.

What is your opinion of this product? I've been in the music world for a long long time. I've had many guitars in that time, and sold some I wish I still had...I found this Wilshire in a local store as I was trying out a few to buy. Due to a broken back, I can no longer use a Paul or anything heavy. This baby is perfect. Not only lightweight, but very well made. And with the Varitone and 3 way switch, I have almost every sound I need for my music. The neck plays like a dream, better than some of the exspensive guitars out there. The paint job and finish is, on mine, perfect. She is deffo a "keeper". I've used her in the studio, onstage and just around my home. She sits right next to my jamming chair so I can pick her up anytime the mood hits...(which is pretty much all the time). Really, a fine guitar. Well done Epiphone, well done!!!!

Your general opinion of this product. I got what I wanted. You can change the tones from soft to hard and crisp. It sounds really good clean or with distortion.
