This thing is PURE TONE! SOLID CABINET! GREAT TRICK AMP! You can MOD this thing to sound like just about anything! I own three and have MODDED all of them to sound different! The one I like the best has a recent Hammond ESE-125 installed along with the works inside it and it is as good or BETTER than any amp out there!!! GREAT RECORDING AMPS! I have another board to mod and put in a box and I LOVE IT!

Seems solid as a rock, very sturdy construction.

The Valve Junior has excellent, crunchy tone that any tube-amp lover would approve of. Its single chicken-head knob for volume allows you to increase the "crunch" as you pump up the volume. Very minimalist, yet adequate for most sound needs. Its volume will surprise you-I've used it with a homemade 8" speaker cabinet (Fender speaker) in our fair-sized church auditorium, and had to roll back the volume to keep from drowning out our grand piano-seriously!

Have never had a problem with this amp.

Epiphone has created a great bang-for-the-buck amp head with the Valve Junior. 5 watts of all-tube power give you rich tube sound for jamming, studio, or even small-venue playing.

Perfect tone for studio work, it would probably sound even better if upgraded with boutique tubes.

It has black tolex covering the back & sides with burgundy and cream colored front. Very cute and classy looking amp.
