Well it is a Thunder bird case but I bought it for the ESP Phoenix 2 and it fits perfectly!!! Looked everywhere for one and decided to try this one and SCORE!

The case is very well constructed, it feels like it could take a serious hit and hold up without worry. A little on the heavy side, but I don't mind for a quality case. Also, it comes with feet on two sides, so you can set it down like shown in the picture AND lay it over to open it without scratching up the vinyl.
Features:
The interior actually changes color depending on where you are. In any sort of artificial light, it's a vaugely purple-gray shade, but in the natural sunlight, it's almost a moss green color. The insert fits the Thunderbird perfectly, and even has enough space around the strap buttons to leave a straplock on the rear (though you have to take it off the front button to make it fit. Also has a huge storage compartment.

Sounds like solid wood, if you ask me.
Playability and Feel:
Heavy, but when there's a guitar in it, it's amazingly well balanced.

Very nice, the Epiphone logo is emblazoned tastefully on the face, not big enough to be shameless self-promotion, but still big enough to be noticed. The vinyl is pulled tight, no loose spots, and the stitching is very well done.
