Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Excellent quality and craftsmanship General Your general opinion of this product. LOVE IT, too bad I can't easily find a hard shell case for it... Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Rich and a jangly! Great sounding even as a ambient unplugged player Finish How did the stain or paint job look? I actually purchased a 'scratch n' dent' at a huge discount. Expecting to see the worst, I was blown away cos out of the box it has absolutely no evidence of the slightest wear or damages...SCORE!
Sent it back and swapped it for a standard Dot (thank you, AMS!)

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? It's a lovely guitar and plays nicely. Unfotunately, I found two problems that repelled me immediately: when you're holding the thing in your hands, the binding just looks like gold glitter thrown into some Elmer's glue. And even worse, the frets appear to be BRUSHED METAL. They're not even polished smooth and make a horrid "nails across the chalkboard" sound when you bend notes. It doesn't pick up too loudly through the amp, but you can just feel it through your hand as you play. Unplugged and at low amp volume, the noise during bending the strings is just unbearable. Extremely disappointing. No wonder it's a limited model. General Your general opinion of this product. Minus the shoddy-looking binding and the terrible fret noise, I was pleased with it. However, the overall LOOK of it comes off a lot more "girly" in person than in the pictures. It's a REALLY sparkly guitar. A bit TOO sparkly. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Sounded great through my tweed Blues Jr. Surprisingly good pickups. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Sparkly. Pretty, but really sparkly.
