Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I've looked this over from top to bottom and cannot find anything to complain about. It appears to be well built and has quality workmanship. Those who say not to buy a China made guitar appearantly never picked up one of these. I see no reason why it will not last for years and years. Reliability How has it stood up over time? As I have mentioned, I've only had mine for a few weeks and I have all the confidence that it will serve me well for many years to come. General Your general opinion of this product. I've had this guitar for a couple of weeks now and I really can't find a fault with it. The sound, playability, finish and build all are better than anticipated and worthy of a higher price tag. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I did lower the bridge a bit but otherwise it is easy and fun to play. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Experiment with the settings and you will find that you can get most any sound you may desire. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is awesome. I have the Vintage Sunburst and it is beautiful. Action How was the action out of the box? The set up out of the box was fairly good although I did lower the bridge a bit after a few days.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Made very well but not quite as well as the Signature model or a Custom Shop...close though. Reliability How has it stood up over time? It is built well but I have not owned it long enough to tell. General Your general opinion of this product. This is a great guitar, esspecially for the price. I also own a John Lennon USA Casino and it is worth the price difference. I bought this as a backup for the USA signature Casino and it serves the purpose. I do think it plays better than the elitist however. If you can;t get a Signature model then I would pick this over the elitist, Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? This guitar is comfortable to play and light enough it won't wear you out after a 1 1/2 hour set. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Full bodied tone, neck is thick and growls as attack increases, bridge is bright and responds well to attack. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Excellent Action How was the action out of the box? It was OK but I always set up my guitars when I get a new one, intonation was off a bit.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Extremely well made just superb in every way possible-simple as that. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Had mine over one year and no issues whatsoever. General Your general opinion of this product. Build quality is without equal, just flawless. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The best guitar I've ever played.Neck is very slim.Controls are well placed. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Has the "sparkle" of the original '65 Casino. Can be mellow or get raunchy if cranked. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The sunburst and the finish are just pure perfection. Action How was the action out of the box? The action was sublime, extremely close all the way down the neck-no buzzing at all.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Very well made. From what I understand, the basic assembly was done in China but the final touches are done in Nashville. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had it for three months. General Your general opinion of this product. $1000 with hardshell case included? A bargain for what you're getting. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? The neck has a fairly flat profile and is baby bear in terms of thickness. It's neither a baseball bat or like the stereotypical shredder guitar. Bends on it are really smooth and easily controlled. There is one exception you need to know about: Upper fret access (past 17) is tough. The neck joins at 17 and I] have to alter the way my hand interacts with the fretboard to get much past there because the lower horn really gets in the way. For players who don't venture up there much that's no loss, but I do make use of those notes. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The pickups are hot P-90s. They are very responsive to pick dynamics. My favorite setting is bridge dimed on volume, rolled to 8 on tone, and neck dimed on tone and rolled to 7 on volume. This interacts with the amp and pick really well. I'm playing Slinky 9.5s. As someone said, this guitar begs to be plugged into a Vox, though I suspect I'd get evicted if I tried that. I'm playing it into a Tech 21 Trademark 10 set on British, Clean, UK Speaker with medium drive, which is approximately the same idea as a Vox (though not really one of course). Finish How did the stain or paint job look? It looks fine. I wanted the finished but due to various issues (back order, plus a return) ended up with the natural instead. Note: One the natural the neck is still finished. Action How was the action out of the box? It was decent though it's better after a string change and pro setup. It was binding a little on the high strings when I switched to Slinkies.
