Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
The first one I received had a switch problem with intermittent sound. Everything else about the guitar was excellent. I returned it and it was replaced with no problem.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
As I mentioned, about the switch, I am hoping that this one will not give me any future problems.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
This is really a beautiful guitar and while not a complete replacement for all my guitars, 24, I think I could probably sell about 18 of them..
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It feels good and comfortable...like I have been playing it for years.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Many, many tonal variations, thanks to the push/pull pots. I love it!!
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
I have yet to find a blemish of any kind. As good as any Fender, Gibson or G & L that I have.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
It might be a tad lower, you know, but, I'm not all that picky...I think it just feels right, for this guitar.

The quality is excellent, as there is not a blemish or any irregularity in the finish/binding/paint/inlays. The sparkle trim (especially around the f-holes) is way cool - makes it look like it came out of an Italian accordion shop in the 50s! The paint has subtle metal flake, too. The pickups are excellent, and the parallel/series switching works great. I get a really nice "Gretschy" tone with the neck PU switched to "single coil." The Bigsby vibrato works really well, although even with the roller bridge, it still needs some re-tuning if you really work the vibrato.
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
I've had it for about a year now and I have had no problems with this guitar.

Your general opinion of this product.
I think this is a great guitar for the money. On a par, if not better, than any of the Gretsch Electromatic series guitars.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
The neck feels great, nice string spacing, excellent action out of the box, and I love the med. jumbo frets. I play fingerstyle, and occasionally the high E string has popped out of the roller saddle when I picked it particularly hard. That's using a set of 10s.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
I love the tone, and it's versatile because you can use in full humbucker mode for a nice fat blues or country sound. When switched, it sounds like two P-90s for some nice twang, perfect for rockabilly and old Chet-style playing. Combine the two for even more variation . . .
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The paint and finish are excellent. The guitar looks killer!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Perfect.

Have not had it long but I see nothing about it that makes me think it will not last. This guitar was put together better than most USA Gibsons that I have owned!
Reliability

Dont know yet

The only nit pics I have about this guitar are
1. Low E string will slip off the roller nut if you are not careful.
2. There are not fret postition markers"dots", to help you see where you are on the fret board. I just took a magic marker and put a small dot where it should be.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
I find nothing cheap or junky about this guitar. It plays great but you cannot get to the higher frets as with all guitars like this. So that is not an issue.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Bright tone, more than expected, but sounds full and much better than any Gretsch I have played.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
Finish is just beautiful. No bad places at all.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
I had to change string gauge to what I use, 10's. It comes with either 11' or 12s. But the set up was almost perfect. Great job Epiphone
