I wish it had a volume control on it, but it's great when plugged in. Acoustically, I would probably perfer my Makala, but in a pinch - it does the job well. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Plugged in I've sometimes felt it sounds a little banjo-y, which i love. it can also sound really thick and heavy too, love it.
