Quality
Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable?
I think this guitar could last well into the future, it is a solid piece of wood for sure!!!!
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Only had it a few months, but every day I take it outta the case, it's always in tune.
Overall
Your general opinion of this product.
If they come out with a different finish, I am getting it, no hesitation at all.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
Unbelievably light for such a chunky guitar, fast neck. Controls a bit close together, like on a "V", but like going from a Les Paul to a Strat, ya just gotta get used to it.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
The tone was a bit weird when I forst plugged it in, but my amp was set up for different guitars (wood types) just 2 small adjustments on the high's and mid's and the tone was like heaven. For stock pickup's I was VERY impressed, although I will change them out for some mini-humbucker's
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
FLAWLESS!!!!!
Action
How was the action out of the box?
Action out of the box was great, I just lowered the strings just a bit to my liking, other than that...PERFECT!!

I love this guitar it has the feel of the SG and the sound of the les paul. it is faster then the lp plays better then both. fast neck. get the right strings makes the difference. slinkys do not work good. thick leather strap for head weight.raise or lower the pickups fix fret buzz. know your guitar.

feels solid. fast neck a lot better the lp sg. do not need to change while playing. if you have to ajust it alot you do not know how to play right.

all ranges most players need to learn their guitar. EVH can make a cheap guitar sound like a great guitar.

On this guitar when i got it the first problem was the stock pick-ups were a little lacking to cheap fuzzy sounding. I fixed that right off the bat. I put in a EMG 81/60 and it sounds now just like my Epiphone Les Paul Standard all together so that fixed that. now on two the next two problems i have with it. the first one is that i cant seem to keep it in tune. I put new strings on it and not only does the three small string come out of tune without really any playing so does the three big strings. Ive been playing for 20+ years and ive never owned a guitar were the three big strings come out of tune. Ive played on the new strings for about 30 to 45 minutes and it still come out of tune. the second problem is the headstock is to heavy. It seems im fighting to keep it from falling down. I tried the strap botton in a few different places and it was worse to hold on to. Im not really sure about this guitar. Epi is known to make good guitars but man im just not sure if this is one of them
Reliability
How has it stood up over time?
Im sure it will hold up like my Epi Les Paul. and that means pretty much through everything.

I dont think this is one of Epiphones better gutars.
Playability and Feel
How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing?
It feels close to my Epi Paul Standard but the action is a little bit tighter. So you cannot pull off bends with ease. The bodys not real heavy the neck is heavy the pick-ups were to thin. The neck is ok on width and thickness and the controls are mounted to far away from yuor hand while playing to change volume or tone and still be able to kick real fast back into playing for me.
Tone
Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin?
Now its good since i put the EMG's in it.
Finish
How did the stain or paint job look?
The finish is cool i like the flat paint but it will scratch easy.
Action
How was the action out of the box?
The action was just about right and didnt buzz to much the only thing is the action is a little tighter then im use to.
