Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? I consider this to be an extremely well crafted guitar and it is obviously going to be very dependable. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I havent had it long at all , but it appears very solid. Overall Your general opinion of this product. Very well constructed and attention to detail was painstaking.Very solid. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? It feels heavy enough to be solid but not overly so . I could jam with this thing on for hours and not be bothered.The neck feels like glass , it's so slick.The controls were well placed and I love the dual sets of knobs . Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The trebel was bright and the rythym was darker and tonal.The pickups are great.I dont see a need to change them out anytime soon. Reliability How has it stood up over time? I've only had the guitar for a month now, so I can't rate the reliability, looks as if it's going to hold up well. I'm used to the light weight of my Fender, sonoma acoustic, which is a feather weight compared to the Les Paul. the neck is perfect, very fast and just the right feel. I'm still a little sketchy on the basic controls as this is my first "electric" so are they easy to get to while playing? no. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Action How was the action out of the box? out of the box intonation was slightly off, but not enough to warrant having it adjusted, someting I wouldn't want to attempt with my lack of skills.

Overall Your general opinion of this product. I had a Gibson Les Paul many years ago and had to sell it. I wanted to replace it recently but couldn't afford a Gibson so I bbought the Epiphone version. I played both guitars (Gibson and Epiphone) side by side, plugged in, in a store and could not find a differnce. Seriouly. It is absolutely identical. I have adjusted the action and checked the other adjustments but those were perfect out of the box. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? It feels the same as the one I owned back in the 70s. the neck is dead straight and true.It is heavy but it stays put if you play hard. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? This is a PAF humbucker pickup guitar and sounds like it. You have heard it a million times and love it. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The flame top on this guitar is beautiful, truly classic. Identical to Gibson finish Action How was the action out of the box? the action was set to factory speces but I was able to bring it way down with no buzzing.
