Amazing tone and sustain. Completely set up, right out of the box. Only needed tuned. Well worth every penny.

Everything about this bass is amazing. Was iffy on going from 4 to 5 strings but after purchasing this I won't be going back to 4 strings.
Action on this bass is top tier.
Tuning stays where you put it.
Everything is too quality.
If you are considering this bass stop. Just get it.

New out of the box the notes fretted out. So it's out for adjustments/basic setup. I will further evaluate it when I get it back. I did play it on one gig and was not happy. The notes were dulling up like all staccato. Could not get any information from ESP IE: string gauge & type etc.

Super clean tones. The finish on it is flawless and the balance and weight distribution is phenomenal. By far the best money I've ever spent on any instrument. ESP really knows what they're doing.

The bass arrived and it looks and feels amazing. The tone is killer. If you play from blues to metal this baby can handle it.

This bass was for a friend of mine. I've played it a few times its got a real tasty sound, I have the F-4E. I'm not a bassist(a guitarist by trade), I have it for recording purposes but I just loved the sound and punch. My friend was looking for a 5-string and I suggested this one.

Product Review
Great product. I have been playing for about four years so this info may be helpful for those who are beginners.
The bass I purchased was supposed to be "scratch and dent." I have no idea what was wrong with it. I have looked and looked for any dings, scratches, or flaws...just don't see it.
While the bass is a little on the heavy side it has a great feel to it. The sleek neck makes for quick and easy play...makes my older, but lighter ESP, feel clunky. This bass should be ideal for any style of play. I play mostly rock, reggae, ska, and punk.
With the controls I have been able to dial in any tone I've been looking for.
Has a great natural look. Very pleased. Again this bass was discounted because of imperfections...neither my wife, kids, nor myself can find them.
This was much more than I expected for the price.
Out of the box the action was a little high and the truss rod needed a 1/4 turn to be loosened to eliminate some fret noise on the A string. The tonality needed some adjusting as well. I don't mind doing any of this...for me it's part of learning. If you're not comfortable making those adjustments any music store will do a set up for you....adjustments should be expected.

I realy dig the big frets and grover tuners thumbs up.
really nice there active ESP pickups but they sound better than most ive played
Your general opinion of this product.
BADASS BASS!
Nice action and a realy smooth neck
Awesome Very clear punchy sound!
love the wood tone its apropriate for any type of music or venue.
Nice low action usualy five strings have slightly higher action but the thru neck keeps the Action and sustain in check very pleased

it is made really well, a bit heavy but nothing a good strap cant fix.
I would say the finish and how realy easy it is to play, the feel is soft and smooth.
Nice even tone, a bit on the bright side so it cuts through but you can EQ it.
like I said a bit Heavy, but a good strap will cure it.
bright and smooth. pick ups, pick up everything and anything, i'm new to it and even w/ me its really easy to play and whatever i play on it comes out clean.
I had been looking for a natural finish and although theres other basses out there which could match up to this one, I loved the finish on it. and the nobs complement it well.
real nice tone to it, I've only been playing for about a year but, ive been around music my whole life and I know full well what a good bass sounds like. After connecting to my Traynor YBA Tube Amp and Cab....I couldn't believe the sound it brought out, simply amazing!

Awesome Bass!

This is a very solid bass that sounds amazing
I think the best feature of this bass is the active emg pickups and the 3 band eq.
The tone of this bass is amazing! With the 3 band eq and active pickups you can dial in just about any sound you would want. I love the sound of this guitar
Although it's a little heavy, it's still comfortable. I took mine straight out of the box, tuned it up and away I went. This thing is strung up with D'addario strings straight from the factory. The neck is smooth and the action is set perfect.
Like I said up above, you can dial in any sound with the 3 band eq and the hot active pickups
This is a very nice looking bass, I'm not one that's huge on wood stained basses but this looks sharp!
As I said before, the action is smooth straight out of the box
