Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? The overall construction is great just need to have better sustain. Reliability How has it stood up over time? Well I'm keping it for my collection! Overall Your general opinion of this product. Don't judge the book by its nice cover...or should I say, for a better some better words "it sucks". Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I'm used to Les Paul type body guitars. Neck on this is better. Very light guitar. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Has good tones. On clean is very nice. The trick is you have to have a good amp and tweak your effects to compensate for what it's lacking "SUSTAIN" (not emphasizing too much, but hey...I trust my ears) Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Really nice n detailed. Action How was the action out of the box? Pretty low ready to play.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? This guitar is built very well. It is a Korean model, but I don't see that much of a drop off, if any at all. The LTD EC-1000 got an editor's pick in Guitar Player, if you are interested in this one you should check it out in the April issue. (it is the model w/out Floyd Rose) Reliability How has it stood up over time? I bought it a couple of days ago so I can't give an answer. I'm sure it will be fine with basic care. It's a piece of wood. don't throw it off a building and you'll be fine. Overall Your general opinion of this product. This is my first real guitar. I have two Xavieres($200) so this is a huge leap forward. It is an awesome guitar. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I have to use the analogy about going from an old hoopty to driving a Ferrari. This guitar is way better than anything I have owned. I know that most of the people reading this have played nice guitars before so this is nothing new, and there are a lot of really nice axes out there. But honestly, this is definitely a nice guitar, of course it's not the best guitar ever made, but it is very nice. Neck is lightning fast and very thin, controls are in a good position, everything is top notch. The Floyd Rose is not a licensed one, but is made in Korea. Hasn't gone out of tune yet and I don't think it will. Don't let the fact that it's not an OFR deter you, I promise you will like it. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? I gave a detailed description above. The EMG's are awesome, but I'm thinking about doing the 18v mod. It's a metal machine. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Impeccable, flawless, 5 star. Very nice guitar. Like everyone has said before, its better than the pics, but it is true. Action How was the action out of the box? Very good. Very nice factory set up. Action is very low. I am brutal with my attack,so there"s a little buzz now and then. Nothing to worry about, this guitar is sweet.
