Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Extremely well made guitar.. It has been very dependable! Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have had this guitar for over 6 months and it sounds and plays better each time... General Your general opinion of this product. If your looking for a mid range non FR guitar, this is it.. Very satisfied with my purchase. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Its feels very rich and chunky when its tuned to a lower tuning.. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? EMG's come through.. Great Harmonics as well! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is flawless... Action How was the action out of the box? Action was a little high for me and had to be adjusted to suit my comfort..
Outstanding instrument !!!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Price to quality ratio is excellent! Reliability How has it stood up over time? I have not owned the guitar very long but trust me I know build quality, and I don't see any problems in this category. Fit and finish is very good! General Your general opinion of this product. I have owned a large amount of guitar and currently still own some listed here...Jackson, Schecter, B.C. Rich, Ibanez, Etc. I have been in the game a long time and for this price point I rate this guitar 5 stars across the board. It's simple...very few guitars offer you the quality components, and workmanship at this price! ESP has been in the business a very long time. I have played numerous ESP's however this is the first I have owned and it's very well worth the price! South Koreans sure make great guitars these days! Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? This guitar is exceptionally light. 7.9 pounds I believe. I own a Schecter Hellraiser as well which is quite a bit heavier so keep that in mind if your on the fence between the two of them. The workmanship and components are nearly the same so if weight is an issue go with the ESP! Both Schecter and ESP are owned by the same entity so the quality is very similar. The feel is great on the ESP, Fast runs are fluid and are at ease on this neck...Well done here! The fretboard is of higher quality on the ESP in my opinion. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? The tone is great. This guitar sounds a bit brighter and more articulate than my Schecter. This is simply due to the different construction, neck woods, and coil tapped EMG's on the Schecter. Love them both! You can't go wrong with either guitar! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The finish is beautiful! You always read the pictures don't do it justice...same here! Action How was the action out of the box? The action was dead on when I received it.
