I also have an epiphone explorer, OLP orange county and newer kramer striker. they are all nice guitars, but the ltd has it all. Playability and Feel How does it feel, Heavy, Fast, Chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? I had never had a guitar with jumbo frets, it plays great! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? tone is excellent, just what I wanted. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? wonderful! still looks great today. Action How was the action out of the box? I recall it played good brand new. i did wedge the floyd down with a piece of wood to keep it from floating, just my personal preference.

Action How was the action out of the box? The action was set perfect when I Bought it, but i detune to C# so it needed a little work, but the ease of doing the setup was no problem at all.
