| It's an ESP,Built Strong,the only really pertanent GRIPE are the WEAK 150 HUMBUCKERS,other than that,it's a Good Guitar for the pricetag. | | Sound:
| Tone is my MAJOR COMPLAINT- the ESP 150 humbuckers to me are reminiscent of an older Epiphone Les Paul Humbucker,MUDDY,gets WORSE when overdriven,and don't even get me started on the 150 in the neck position. WITH the body being made out of BASSWOOD,Even when you turn the tone knobs down,you are looking at tone that's got WAY too much Treble,it's thin with No "PUNCH" to it in the bridge,even when you do a little Palm Muting,Pick-ups SHOULD have been chosen for this that are ALOT more powerful,say,something along the lines of a Seymour Duncan JB in the Bridge,and a '59 in the Neck,or a GOOD Set of DiMarzio PAF's. IF you make that swap,I believe this could maybe be a GREAT Sounding guitar. Even when I plug into my Amp Modeling/Multi FX equipped Amps/Preamps that make some really WEAK guitars sound Passable to Very Good,they couldn't help the Poor SA2 out,I LOVE Richie's Live Tone with his Super HIGH GAIN Tone,it was really DISAPPOINTING to get this plugged in see how she sounded. | | Reliability:

| Don't Expect a "KILLER" Sambora SIGNATURE model that comes anywhere CLOSE to his FENDER,or FLOYD ROSE REDMOND guitars,You'll be disappointed. | | Playability and Feel:
| Neck was Nice ,fast and SMOOTH,not any buzz,Stayed in tune with the Floyd Rose SPECIAL Trem VERY WELL,even with some "Heavy" sweeps,and Trem Bar Dive Bombing.AGAIN,ESP Builds some Very Nice guitars,even the lower priced models are VERY PLAYABLE. | | Tone:
