General What is your overall opinion of this product? Great, right out of the box. Tuned up, plugged in, and I'm still playing it. Quality What is your opinion of the quality of this product? How does it work for different genres of music? Very well made. Solid. Feels like an old workhorse...I'm very rough on my guitars, and this one takes the punishment. Feel Heavy, fast, chunky? How was the neck? Are the controls easy to get to while playing? Worn finish on the neck is awesome. Slim and fast. A Fender "worn" model is $900. This blows it away... Tone How is the tone? Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick or thin? The only criticism I have is the humbucker in the neck position...VERY WEAK...I ordered an Esquire pickguard for it, and will remove the neck pickup. Really muddy and dark.. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? And the "relic"'d finish is spot on. (I got the 3-tone sunburst model Value Did you get what you were expecting for the price? How does it compare to similar products in the same price range? Excellent. The Mexican made Fender Standard Tele doesn't come close. Those need a set up right away, just to be playable. This was delivered ready to play. AMS also had a special "4 easy payments", and that made it irresistible. I've been a customer for 4 years because of their deals. Playability How was the action out of the box? Perfect. Intonation was also spot on. I was surprised. But now I'm a fan of LTD. Good stuff.

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Seems very well made. It's new so time will tell the whole story but I'm impressed so far. General Your general opinion of this product. Fantastic. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Bright tele tone on the bridge pickup. The humbuker on the neck has it's own unique sound. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? Like 40 years of gigs!

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? All of the parts seem pretty good, the only negative thing was it was not set up correctly from the factory. Need the intonation adjusted and a couple of frets filed, cost me an additional $50, but i have a killer guitar for not much money. General Your general opinion of this product. This was a great purchase! The day it arrived, I took it to the repair shop. The stock pickup were not that bad however I installed him cancelling SD pickups, and had the guy set the guitar up. The intonation was way of. But glad that I got it. It is as great guitar, plays wonderful and sounds great, and everyone who see it likes because it is not a common guitar. Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? sounded very much like a vintage fender tele with the stock pickups. Finish How did the stain or paint job look? finish is pretty cool. the area the "paint is missing" has a clear coat over it to protect the wood. so it is cool

Quality Would you consider this product to be made well? How dependable? Like all ESP's, very well built. And for the price, I'd put this up against the competitors no problem! General Your general opinion of this product. If you want to get into a Fender Telecaster, but don't want to get a Squier, this is a can't-miss alternative! Tone Bright and snappy? Dark and smooth? Were the pickups hot, mellow, thick, thin? Again, new pick-ups are a must.... but it isn't too bad overall! Finish How did the stain or paint job look? The worn look is cool. It may not be for everyone, but kind of nice not worrying about dings on a new guitar.
