Before purchasing this product I had only ever heard talk about it along with seeing it being being played by some of my most favorite drummers such as Rodney Holmes and Bernard Purdie. After playing it and feeling the total control and comfort of nuance applications I dont see any reason to use another snare head. Being a fusion drummer I'm looking for the obvious; versatility, attack, warmth, clarity, etc. But to my surprise, when playing this head, not only did I find all the musical necessities, but I also found that this head brought forth immense confidence, inspiration and clarification in my playing.
